Each year the faculty, staff, and management of Champlain Regional College work tirelessly to
provide our students with an exceptional educational experience. In addition to all of the
numerous efforts required to support our students’ success, during the 2008-2009 academic
year, the Champlain Regional College community engaged in the development of a new fiveyear
College Strategic Action Plan (CSAP) that would respond to the diverse needs of our three
campuses.
Champlain Regional College is the only English language college with multiple campuses
serving three different administrative regions. The Québec Government defines the College as a
single corporate entity, which the Board of Governors respects when dealing with issues of
governance and finance. However, one of the College’s greatest strengths is the Board’s
appreciation for each campus’s distinct culture and traditions, and recognition of their unique
circumstances and needs. This diversity creates a unique challenge when developing a Collegewide
strategic plan, but it also gives Champlain rich opportunities to build relationships that span
the physical boundaries and open possibilities for synergy and continuous improvement.
I wish to express my sincere appreciation for the commitment and collaboration of our campus
and service teams, who give so generously to ensure our students’ continued success and help
to ensure that we remain focused as we continue the process of...
Planning Today, For Our Students’ Continued Success Tomorrow!
