The College’s General Profile
Champlain Regional College is the only English language college with multiple constituent colleges serving three administrative regions: the Montérégie (16), the Estrie (05), and the Capitale-Nationale (03). The Québec Government defines the College as a single corporate entity, which the Board of Governors respects when dealing with issues of governance and finance. However, one of the College’s greatest strengths is the Board’s appreciation for each constituent’s distinct culture and traditions, and recognition of their unique circumstances and needs.
Champlain’s Constituent Colleges
Each constituent college offers a unique and rich experience to its students based on its particular history, culture, and traditions. While each constituent college is based in an administrative region, it is important to note that Cégeps have “open borders” and serve all regions of Québec. For example, our St. Lawrence and Lennoxville constituent colleges regularly welcome students from the eastern regions of Québec such as the Côte Nord and Gaspésie.
Champlain College Lennoxville
The Lennoxville constituent college is located in the borough of Lennoxville which is part of the City of Sherbrooke where it shares grounds and facilities with Bishop’s University. It offers pre-university and technical programs, as well as, extensive continuing education services at its Sherbrooke location.
Champlain College Saint-Lambert
The Saint-Lambert constituent college is located on the border between the municipalities of Saint-Lambert and Longueuil on the South Shore of the Island of Montreal. It is the English constituent college based in the Montérégie Administrative Region 16, which includes six other public Francophone Cégeps. It offers pre-university and technical programs, as well as, extensive continuing education services on and off campus.
Champlain-St. Lawrence College
The St. Lawrence constituent college is located in the borough of Ste-Foy adjacent to the City of Québec.
