Under the supervision of the Director General, Champlain Regional College offers a wide range of services to facilitate the daily operations and functions of its three constituent colleges and relations with the community at large. A selection of services is specifically designed for faculty and staff, and others are specifically targeted for community partners.
The Director General’s office contributes to the development and outreach of Champlain Regional College in accordance with the orientations of the strategic plan and the decisions of the Board of Governors.

The Finance department contributes to the mission of the College by providing quality services to the college community.
The service is responsible for the management of all activities and resources of the College related to finance such as budgets, financial statements, payroll and benefits, internal controls, and financial risk management. Transparency, accountability, and effectiveness are the guiding principles of the Service.
The Service also ensures the compliance with Government financial laws, regulations, and directives as well as the College bylaws, policies, and procedures.

The College’s Material Resources service includes both purchasing and material resources. The role of this service is to support the day-to-day operations of each constituent college in achieving its educational mission by overseeing all aspects of supply and capital management while ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
Our philosophy is to ensure the optimal use of human and financial resources by linking asset management to organizational objectives through strategic planning.
The Purchasing department ensures compliance with the law and regulations relating to contracts with public bodies as well as our Sustainable Development Policy.
This applies to all acquisitions of goods and services, the selection and evaluation of our suppliers as well as accountability.
Material Resources are responsible for the planning, administrative and legal management of construction and maintenance contracts, the tendering process, asset management and crisis management.

The Information Technology service at Champlain Regional College’s Administrative Centre provides governance, strategic planning, accountability, acquisition, and security of information, as well as providing and supporting custom and commercially developed organizational technologies to all its users, including those of the constituent colleges.
The Information Technology service acts as a liaison between the College’s administrative services, our constituent colleges, and our partners. It also assists the College in making informed decisions and plays a role in technology implementation, while identifying and monitoring new trends and technologies to ensure that the needs of the College continue to be met in the future.

The Human Resources department plays a vital role in fulfilling the College’s mission by working collaboratively with all groups of stakeholders in order to contribute to the continuing development of a sense of community and meet the College’s strategic goals.

The office of Corporate Affairs oversees the Board membership and new governor orientation processes. The department manages the process of developing and revising Regional College regulations and policies and ensures that appropriate groups are consulted.
Its role is to assist and advise the Chair, the Director General, the Directors of the Constituent Colleges and other members of the Senior Management Committee in the development and revision of regional college bylaws and policies, as well as other members of the Senior Management Committee on ethical and governance issues, such as rules of order and procedure.
The department ensures that the Regional College complies with all accountability requirements and complies with legal obligations related to college records and archives.
